Summary
CasinoLuck is a place for virtually any player in the world. It has plenty of games, offers, promotions, tournaments, and even the VIP program for the most loyal ones. Sure, there are a few glitches here and there, but it’s nothing to worry about. We recommend this one.
User Review
( votes)CasinoLuck is a well regarded casino that ran for many years on an EveryMatrix platform, but in April 2017 it switched over to a different provider known as NeoGames. The casino is licensed in the United Kingdom and Malta and features a selection of instant play casino games from various developers. I took a new look at the fresh new CasinoLuck site to see whether its recent changes are for the better.
Games and software selection
The selection of games is provided by well known game developers such as Net Entertainment, Microgaming, Play’n Go, Evolution Gaming, WMS, and NeoGames among others. You can play for free or for real cash, and there is no software installation needed to participate as all the games are browser based. There is a nice selection of games to suit most players, including popular slots such as Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, and Dead or Alive, along with Microgaming smash hits like Playboy, Immortal Romance, and Thunderstruck II. In all, there are hundreds of modern and classic slots to choose from, with very little of the dated cruft that you often see at many casinos.
The table game and video poker selection is thin on the ground at the new CasinoLuck. There are three games of video poker, namely Deuces Wild, Joker Poker, and Jacks or Better. All the table games are provided via live dealer studios that are run by Evolution Gaming. You can choose from Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat. Aside from that, there are no other card or table games, and no computerised RNG versions of any of the table games. Aside from those mentioned games, there is a wide range of digital scratch cards. To me they are about as fun as getting slapped in the head with a wooden spoon. But if that is your thing, you won’t go wrong at this casino.
Progressive jackpot chasers will be pleased to see some of the bigger Net Entertainment jackpots on offer, including Mega Fortune, Divine Fortune, and Cosmic Fortune. However that delight might be tempered somewhat when you see that there are no Microgaming jackpots such as Mega Moolah on offer, despite the casino having other games from this provider. It is a strange omission.
The casino’s website and user interface is average at best. The games fill your screen with the typical grid of logos, and there is a handy quick search box. However the games are arranged in no discernible order and there is no way to either order them by criteria such as alphabetically, or to filter them via their developer or game features. These options were available to players on the older EveryMatrix site that CasinoLuck ran, so it is hard to see the current site as anything other than a step backwards.
Customer Support and Banking options
Contacting the support team is one area that this casino could improve on a little. You have the option of emailing or submitting a message to the customer support crew, or using the live chat facility when it is available. In my experience here, emails or request messages are replied to within a few hours which is good, but there are no doubt players that would appreciate a phone support option.
The banking department covers a multitude of deposit options including the usual credit cards, Neteller, and Skrill options, but also covering local bank transfers, and mobile payment systems. Over the years I have submitted several withdrawals at CasinoLuck and after verifying my identity the first time, almost every time since they have paid to either of my Neteller or Skrill accounts within a couple of hours. Unfortunately their new policy is to hold withdrawals for 48 hours in a reversible state before paying them, which as you can imagine is a huge disappointment given their history. The withdrawal limit has been reduced to $7,000 per month, this is higher if you reach VIP status.
Security, fairness, and responsible gambling
The casino is licensed to operate by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. In accordance with UKGC regulations, it declares that its segregation and protection of player funds only meets the “basic” standards set out by the UKGC. This should be interpreted as more or less no segregation of player funds, and in the event of insolvency, creditors would be able to claim customer deposits to service debts.
There casino does not publish its games return to player (RTP) numbers on its website, nor does it publish any payout audits from previous months of operation. However some of the game providers such as Net Entertainment and Play’n Go include this information within their game help files, and you can access them by pressing the help button in game.
In terms of responsible gambling, you are able to set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit via your account settings page. If you would like to freeze your account or self exclude from the casino, you need to contact the customer support department.
